Default TomTom 6 and WM6

The tomtom websie proudly proclaims that no TomTom products are supported on
WM6. But they also say it's not supported on my Vario-II and it works just
fine.

Before I risk the WM6 upgrade, has anyone actually run TomTom on WM6?

TIA,

Jeremy.

Yes. Works fine on an XDA Mini S running WM6.

It works fine on my M3100 upgraded to WM6 (Black Satin).

Just beware though that it might change your TomTom Device ID so you
might need to contact TomTom to reactivate your maps.

Not quite what you asked, but I've found TomTom Navigator 5 works great
on my MDA Vario running WM6 - in fact, I've probably had less hangs in
TTN5 than when I was running WM5.

It didn't for me when I switched from WM5 to WM6 on my Vario with TTN5 -
same ID.

Tangent: How did you do this upgrade? I've just had my M3100 repaired,
any chance it's been done for me by HTC?

I doubt it. I got my WM6 upgrade for the Vario from XDA Developers.
Their page for the Hermes (the M3100) is

TT6 works nicely on my E-Ten M700 under WM6, using the built-in GPS receiver.

Cheers,

Mark.

How about WM5, anyone using TT6 on an SPV C600? It's no listed as
compatible on the TT website, but not sure if it ever was.
