I'm currently trying to beat a Toshiba TS608 (TS30 in Asia) into
workable submission, and have hit a snag. I've got a bunch of useful
midlets that require access to the Internet, and non of 'em work.
I've gone through the options to configure network access for Java
applications and given it the same settings as used for the e-mail
checking capability (i.e. true Internet access) and it's a no-go. I've
also tried the settings for WAP access and the same happens. No GPRS
icon, no 'net access. The built-in browser and POP3/SMTP e-mail program
both work fine.
Any ideas?
