Unlock code from Virgin. Only PAYG?

Does the £30 credit necessary to qualify for free unlocking apply to
PAYG only, or would you still qualify if paying a monthly rental?

Yes, it is still £30 credit.. They send the code by letter, it can take up
to 28 days though.
