Default Unlocking Vario II & NZ SIM card.

I'm off to New Zealand in January and it seems the best way of keeping costs
down is to get a NZ SIM card either from a company called
http://www.0044.co.uk/newzealand.htm or just get a SIM card when I get to
NZ.

However my phone is on T-mobile and needs to be unlocked, do I need to take
my phone to a shop or not ? T-mobile say they can do it for £15 and send me
the unlock code. I am not been tight but last months invoice with T-mobile
was £500 + so it pxxxxs me of with them charging £15. Also I have a old
Nokia 9500 which I keep as a spare phone and I want to get this unlocked as
well.

Do I just find a local mobile phone shop ?

Dave.

Don't have a Vario II but it can apparently be unlocked for free. See:

Get T-Mobile to unlock it.
