Unwanted sound from Moto V500

I live in a low signal strenth area and my Moto V500 is forever losing and
then finding the network. Every time it loses or makes contact it makes a
bleepety-bleep sound, which is very irritating, and i can't find a way to
swith it off (apart fromsilent mode). There must be a way because it didn't
use to do this. Anyone know how to stop it?

On my V551 (yours should be similar) Under network there is an option
"Service Tone" set it to off.
