I have a suspicion that the owner was using their US SIM card and roaming
while in the UK.
If the phone is CDMA then you defnitely won't be able to use it with O2 or
any other GSM network.
If the phone is a GSM model (I doubt it) then it is probably locked. However
you are in luck as there is a free unlock available for the Treo 600 at
http:\\mytreo.net.
