Vodafone 3G issues - West Yorkshire

Is anyone else having issues connecting to the Vodafone 3G network in
West Yorkshire (Bradford and Halifax)?

When my handset is connected to the 2G network, it works fine - both
data and voice. When connected to 3G, only voice works - data
connections can be opened, but no packets are ever received. Eventually
the connection times out.

Hello,

I've had difficulty getting onto Vodafone Mobile Broadband since this
morning - when the dongle is set to operate on GPRS it connects (which
is how I'm connected now!) but although it can pick up a 3G signal, it
can't connect to the internet through it.

Am going to have a good look round on th'internet now (as quick as 56k
will let me!!) and will post back if I find anything!!

That's interesting....I know someone whose 3G BlackBerry won't function
for data in 3G mode but does in GPRS. Device is between Queensbury &
Halifax.

I've had something similar intermittently in the Reading area on Tuesday and
today.

Data won't connect over 3G and texts won't send, or report as sending failed
when they have in fact sent.

I didn't try making calls.

Change to 2G only and it all works fine.

Works fine over 3G too at the moment. I'm home now so not in exactly the
same area.

I rang 08700 700 191 but they weren't terribly helpful suggesting I check
with a different phone.
I may be able to, if it happens again.

Anyone else noticed anything?
