Vodafone downgrade tariff/plan

How quickly after taking on a contract can you downgrade it? I'm
particularly interested in Vodafone...

I think it's after 6 months on 12 month contract and after 9 months on an 18
month contract.

As I understand it you can downgrade a Vodafone contract at 9 months,
regardless of 12 or 18 month contract
