Voice tags on old Nokia 6210 work altho keyboard locked

My old Nokia 6210 is playing up.

Before, when the keyboard was locked the a long press on the right
softkey did nothing.

But now, with the keyboard locked the right softkey gives me access to
the voice tags.

Can this be fixed to return the handset to how it was?
