Well you must have a different interpretation of "Out Of Warranty" to
me .
Anyway I 'phoned Kuehne and Nagel this morning and explained the
problem .
First thing I got told was that My Name and Postcode were not on the
system so I should 'phone Sony E.
When I (again) explained that I had a letter from them (K+N) and gave
her the Job Number she found it on her system but said it was a
charger I had sent !!!
I explained it wasn't a charger .It was a battery and she said that
they didn't deal with batteries, only handsets .By this time I was
getting rather exasperated and it clearly came through in my voice
and she said " Would you mind not speaking to me like that" .I felt
like saying " Trust me .I'm not saying what I'd like to say" .Anyway
she manged to cut me off either accidentally or deliberately .
I then called back and the next girl found it on the sytem but said
that I had not sent proof of purchase !!! . When I told her that I had
she said she would need to send an e-mail to the workshop and call me
back when they replied ....dunno why she couldn't just phone them but
Hey Ho.So that's where we are at the moment .
