I am just looking for a heads up, will be getting an unlock code and
instructions later this evening from an eBay seller who was selling
unlock code for K3565 for 99p.

Just for laughs I put the Vodafone UK 1GB Sim that you get with the
K3565 in to see what would happen and sure enough it picks up the Cable
& Wirless network here in Jersey and allows you to connect at Roaming
Rates.. http://yfrog.com/edroamingj

Does anyone know how much it would cost me if I clicked connect?

You sure about that?

I expect you'll receive a few pages of writing detailing possible ways of
unlocking portable devices.
The first suggestion being

"...contact the provider, they may be able to unlock it for you..."

the second

"various software programmes are available for you to download"

and so on, all useless.

I only know cos I fell for it too when I thought I was buying an 'unlock'
for a phone. Luckily when I complained they refunded my money.

No this is for an unlock code, the seller has recieved positive feedback
from previous buyers for this service its a little different from
unlocking a phone and is specific to this dongle. Its only 99p.

From what I can gather you get sent an email with an unlock code with a
link to software with which you can enter the unlock code to unlock the
dongle, you have to send your IMEI number so they can generate the
unlock code.

I doubt he'll be that lucky. This is uber-loser NLL we are talking about.
He's back, folks!

He'll probably receive instructions that will cause the phone to go into
incandescent meltdown, with a side-effect of gelding, before burning his
house down. He will then be nearly drowned by the fire brigage, catch
pneumonia and then try to sell the phone on eBay before reneging on the
deal.

Yeah I was right the seller sent me an email with an .exe attachment
this was flagged by googlemail as suspicious so I had to retrieve it
directly from the pop3 account it was sent too.

All I had was an email containing the NCK code and this little utility,
I just loaded up the util and entered the NCK code and that was it, took
1 second and I can now use my local sim card it in.
