Will iPhone 3G cannabalise the iPod? Also: iPhone 3G on pay-as-you-gofrom O2 (see what you can do)

Why would anyone buy an iPod touch, which will be around the same

Also, I've heard o2 are going to do a Pay as you go option. Any
details, plox?

Because they like the interface, want an iPod, but don't want a
(still, IMO) feature-poor phone bundled with it, and a contract to
keep up payments on?

I bought my iPhone for £169 and my old iPod Touch cost me £199.

Zibri already cracked a 'gold' firmware but the main problem is going
to be the new mobile security protocols between the new iTunes so that
Ziphone can talk to the 3G iPhoon.

www.o2.co.uk - go to the iPhone bit and hit the pay as you go link.
Currently just shows a "coming soon" thing and it asks you to register
your interest.
