Default Windows Phone

Im going to Las Vegas next week, im after a windows mobile device to keep in
touch, email, msn messenger sort of thing.

What is the current best of breed? Im not so bothered about its call
capabilities, more so on its messenging / typing, etc

I usually go for Nokia but havent looked at anything recently.

9300 communicators are fairly cheap right now (possibly the 9500's too
if you can get them) - Nokia are releasing the E90 "real soon now"
which is why they're going, I guess.

I'v had a 9500 since they came out, and althogh it's still a "bit of a
brick", I woudln't be without it! (until they relase the E90!)

I went into the o2 store ... I am tempted by the O2 Xda's ... possibly the
xda mini s which seems to fit the bill ... the exec does too but is more
bulk than willing to go for.

Any o2 xda fans?

I have a MDA Vario (now superceeded by the 3G Vario II). This is the
same as the XDA Mini S (just rebranded) and I've been pleased with it.
Not the zippiest of handsets, but is great for messaging and internet.

O2 Orbit is the one to get. Much slimmer and built in Sat Nav (I've had both
and recommend the Orbit)

No slide out keyboard but the "soft" keyboards are fine
