I am on the wrong end of the ADSL cable coming from the exchange, so
my bandwidth is very limited (about 256K download). I am finding that
if my PC is downloading a large file, I am getting stuttering on my
Voip calls. Qustion, Is there anyway to force the Fritz Box to give
Absolute priority to Voip Data?

You can in some routers set the priorities so that VoIP has that
allocated.
256 K eh?, poor you ,and all the other groups saying that TV and Radio
streaming are the future of Broadcasting;!....

You'll probably find that Internet Telephony is prioritised
automatically, but to check:
Contents > Advanced Settings > Internet > Prioritization > Rules > Real
-time Applications.
Network Device = automatic
Network Application = Internet Telephony
If this isn't showing, it's easy enough to set up a New Rule using the
drop down menus.

I do better with the router-to- exchange-connection showing @ 1,376mbps
(browser window). I know it will be slow as I am 8 km from the exchange.
Up until recently I was getting 120kbps down stream connections, but
since Cable & Wireless started fiddling on the Demon network my download
connection has now reached 1.72kbps (less than half V92bis dial up
speed).

Other than QoS, another thing you could try is changing the CODEC
used for a less bandwidth-hungry one. Try G729

I am in Spain, I had some idiot company trying to sell me subscription
IP TV boxes here for UK TV, to sell on. The boxes needed 2Meg constant
minimum, I told them that its not like the UK here, only in the main
cities and some towns, was there much chance of 2Meg constant. Dont
think they believed me, as they are still advertising their wares in
the english read newspapers.
The fritz box is a combined router and voip adapter, so the priority
question was specific to this box.

For QoS to work on the Fritz, you should manually set your real (realistic)
internet speeds, especially on low bandwith lines. The real speeds are
usually lower than the sync speed.
And of course use a bandwith-friendly codec.

If I have any dislikes about this box, it is the way the menu system
works. I can't find where I change the settings for telling the box,
what my connection speed is. Can you help please.
My download speed is 0.8M and Upload is 0.3M
