Straying onto uk.telecom.mobile territory a bit here..! Most of the
"virtual" networks use T-Mobile, except for Tesco who use O2. Not sure if
one of the others doesn't use O2 as well, but not sure. Someone on u.t.m
will know though..!

They weren't when they started and they still have the best coverage IMHO.
They are also the only network that has Line 2, but we're straying onto
uk.telecom.mobile territory here, so I won't delve too much into it..!

Vodafone have got the best coverage in this country, but after the row I
had with them, I will not touch them.

The phone inside my friends car is also the same, also got GPS sat nav
built in, but she uses the TOM TOm as it is better.

French Telecome, the same people who Owns Freeserve which is now
Wannadoo. By all accounts Wannadoo name will also be changed to Orange
soon.
I expect they will get into this VOIP thing as well.

T-Mobile is German. Vodaphone is still British and so far so is o2.

I got no idea what 3 is, I think it is dutch.

I gather that the main reason there are no (longer any) virtuals on
Orange is that Orange were charging end-users lower rates retail than
the wholesale rates they were charging the virtual networks.
