Default Hmm, sipgate's 555 free minutes expire!

just a word of warning if you didn't know, when you sign up with sipgate you
get 555 mins free, but that expires in 2 months. not that i can find
anything online or in writing anywhere on the box or manual.

only got told that when i asked sipgate about a 2 month expiry date on my
account

mumble grumble! , thought i had a years worth of free calls then! (i dont
use the phone that much!)

Come on people, not only you want to have everything for free but also
someone to listen to your complains all the time!

doesn't matter what it's about, my point was they dont tell you when you
sign up , or buy their hardware, there are conditions attached to it

imagine buying a new car then finding out you can only drive it backwards,
but they didn't tell you that before you bought it!

If you look on the website on the "Account & Billing" tab it does mention
it there (but only once you have signed up, I admit).

I did ask if it could be extended but they said no it was an entirely
automatic process :-(

It's only for users of the Netgear TA612V box.

i dont think it should stop you, so far it's been a good service, just be
aware that the free calls are only for the 2 months

I emailed sipgate about this, and received a reply half an hour ago, in
which they've agreed to change the product description in their online
store.

Kind regards

Keith
