I hear both Vee oh eye pee and voyp. I use the latter (mostly!), which
I think is more popular.
Most acronyms seem to migrate to something of a spoken word eventually,
even if they sound weird to start with. In my other world of diving,
scuba is of-course S.C.U.B.A. (But how many people these days remember
that it means Self Contained Underwater Breathing Aparatus!)
I've not heard anyone trying to "say" ADSL though!
