Default PC Review

I don't know how or when it happened, but uk.telecom.voip now appears as
a "forum" on the PC Review site:
<http://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/forum-289.php>

Lots of forums are now doing this with newsgroups.
It makes it look like they've got a lot of subscribers.

There was a problem with one of them doing this with
uk.d-i-y, as the forum software was completely breaking
the news threading. This was solved by many of the
newsgroup users adding a copyright notice and explicitly
forbidding the forum from using their articles.

Providing things like that breakage don't happen and
it's not being passed off as something it isn't, I don't
generally have any issues with it -- there's no reason
google should have exclusive rights to do this.

Yes, it's surprising how many "guest" posters PC Review has on this
paricular forum. ;-)

I suppose, so long as they don't break anything, it does give another
point of access to people who may not have regular newsgroup access.
