It's £10.99 from OneTel,
and £0.00 from Voipbuster, after you have paid 1 Euro ;-)

More like £20.98 if you take OneTel line rental and unlimited geographic
calls.

But you have to pay the rental anyway to have ADSL (unless you get your BB
via wireless ;-), so you would be paying very nearly the same to use Vonage
AFTER you have paid for the locked ATA. What's the point ?

Martin

If you have cable your ADSL service isn't necessarily bundled with a
phone line nowadays. :-)

However, if you have cable your TV service will probably be bundled with
a phone service instead. :-(

It's about time Sky brought out a package that didn't require a fixed
phone line for the first year; that might encourage the cablecos to
think about more solus TV packages. (Sky's argument is that the phone
line is necessary for chargeable interactive services, which I'm sure
many of us probably wouldn't want to use anyway...)

I don't have ADSL, I have cable, and no fixed line phone, so I only pay
for my broadband.

I have NTL broadband, and I do not have their TV service. I only have their
telephone service because I was offered it free for 12 months, but that will
be going when the free period ends.

Never had a problem here with BT line and Wanadoo or whatever they're
calling themselves this week. Had ADSL for over 2 years and only had one
or two minor outages which were quickly fixed. A lot of reported problems
have been with the cheapo USB modems that they supply. Get a router and
Ethernet connections and the problems go away.

The main problem with cable I believe is the upload speed, I'm told that
it's only 128k on some systems.
