sending a Betamax SMS using a URL

This may be widly known already, but I've just descovered it.
You can send an sms using a Betamax account with a URL formatted thus:
https://www.smartvoip.com/myaccount/...xx&text=Hello-
This is a test SMS from Graham.

On the same principle there's also a shell script called 'fincheck' that
will do all sorts of things, like return your balance, free minutes, send
your balance by SMS, download your recent calls, initiate phone to phone
calling, etc etc.
