Default spa3102 power light

I've a problem with my ata and I think it may be terminal. The power led is
blinking "dah dit dit" and I cannot remember what it did when it was
working.

What should the power light do when connected normally?

With ethernet disconnected the status led on mine also does dah-dit-dit,
and the "power" LED is on solid, when the ethernet is connected (and it
can get an IP address by DHCP or by manual config) the status light goes
off, the bypass realy clicks and the "power" LED then pluses in line
with ethernet traffic.
