Default Using BT Voyager 220V as a voip client

Does anyone know if you can use the Voyager 220V as a stand-alone voip
client, i.e. plug a phone in one port and then use one of the LAN
sockets to connect to your network, and simply ignore the ADSL modem?

I was thinking of getting a 10V, but there seem to be lots of 220V's
around going cheap on ebay.
