Looks like its down completely now. I was getting dial tone earlier but
now not even that. My router shows that that port us not registered
although I can talk to the ATA.

Same here for dial tone. Dialled our BT line, waited for about 10 secs
but nothing so hung up. BT line rang with CLI Voip number about 15 secs
later.

Keep taking the tablets........?

FFS you are a PIA.

I started this genuine thread about voip.co.uk and you have contributed
nothing at all about the subject matter.

Just take your argument elsewhere.

You two Dick Heads are not welcome.

Nor has Ron.

I will when he does.

Your opinion is noted. I doubt Ron will take notice.

BTW I'm still waiting for proof of the libellous statement that I work for
Sipgate, which is not and never has been true.

The only thing that will help you defend yourself against libel is extremely
deep pockets I'm afraid.

He has never contributed anything worth reading. Why do you expect him
to change?

There is no argument. It is just a puerile squabble. You need arguments
to support an argument.

FWIW, my voip.co.uk and my sipgate accounts seem to have worked
perfectly this weekend.

Maybe I was just lucky.

I think it s probably related to the switch to the new platform
(seemingly now out of beta). It seems that the very first call made from
the new platform takes about five seconds extra to connect. Fetching
biling data? I don't know.

Subsequent calls seem to be back to normal.

Not my experience. I have two numbers on their residential tariff for a
small charity - total spend only about £30 per year, and hit
configuration problems when I replaced the router last week.

I got brilliant help from Chris and Adam at voip.co.uk - interested,
helpful and creative.

The problem was devices registering. I could set diverts to other
numbers no problem. Fixed within an hour.

All seems to be O.... no, I'll not tempt fate by saying that!

Have to chip in and say that Chris sorted out a number porting-in
problem for me within a couple of hours after BT screwed it up.
