I noticed this too and I mailed them about 3 and at 4 mins past I got
this

--------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Martin Keen

We were informed by one of our connectivity providers that following a
re-occurrence of a power issue on the gar2.lon1 router, a complete
chassis swap would be necessary. Due to the instability of the box and
the nature of the fault, it has been deemed necessary to replace this
as soon as possible. And down time is scheduled for between 1am and
6am.

We reverted to one of our failover networks at 23:30 hours to ensure
continued service at about 01:25 am we was alerted to a minor problem
with our Nat outbound proxy and some users were effected this was
quickly resolved and normal service was resumed. Should you have any
other questions with regards to this or any aspect of our service
please don't hesitate to let us know.

Kind Regards

Voipfone Customer Services

very speedy reply and they seem to be on the ball i didnt even think i
would get a reply at that time of the morning.

Martin Keen

Dexter, although you may have supernatural powers, I suspect it is more
likely that either you or Sean has the time zone in their news reader set
incorrectly, as the reply was sent before the original message.

Its only important in this case as it helps me make more sense of the
timings of the voipfone problems with regard to the email in martin's post.

cheers

Mark
