If you have a DID, that you can point to your voxalot sip, then it
will still work with the free 'basic'. I have done this so I know it
works. It is only if you have to 'register' a provider that you need
to pay.
I did have 3 registrations, now I just have one for my Australian
number.
For example, if you have a voip.co.uk account, you don't have any
choice but to register it if you want to receive incoming calls on
that number.
What's more, even if you only wanted to use a provider for outgoing
calls only then, with some providers, this isn't possible unless
registered. So, it all depends on what you are wanting to do and any
registration requirements that may exist for your provider(s).
Dial plan rules will work in exactly the same way whatever 'plan' you
are on.
The only differences between the free 'basic' and the 'paid for' plans
are:-
1. Registrations
2. Callback
3. Call forwarding.
I thik that they are going to introduce a callthrough, as well, fairly
soon, but that will be available at all levels - I THINK it is becasue
they will make a very small 'per minute' charge.
