I use VoipWise, it's 10£ for 3 months of unlimited calls plus your credit, I think it's the cheapest one, I got it linked to my N95 and I can use it in 3G areas and WiFi it's pretty cool
I live in the UK but my family lives in USA and Mexico and all over the show, so I find it very useful having free calls to them places.
If you make an account there, make sure you say that BigJalapeno recommended you xD

Axvoice is a rocking VoIP service provider. I am a proud user of this service and has a residential plan that fulfills my requirements. I save huge money on international calls while using this plan. The support is classy and quick. Keep on good work.

I bought a WP04 from WiFi VoIP and Dual-Mode Mobile Wireless Phones - Yippz.com about 6 months ago and use it in the house and at the office. It's a dedicated Wifi chipset phone, has great battery life and just simply works and sounds great.

Recently we are testing the Pirelli DP-SW20 at the office since it's a dual mode phone. For logging in at restaurants and hotels the wifi voip sounds excellent. We added in our SIM card from our old phone and we're up and making calls.

For sound quality (I've tried a lot of voip phones over the years), rather than mess around with emulation and dragging a netbook around, going with actual voip chipsets will always give you the best g711 or g722 sound.

VoIP is a way of making regular phone calls over a Broadband High Speed Internet connection instead of a regular telephone line.Vonage is one of the most popular VoIP services, recommended in more reviews than any other.I have used this service.

I am looking into OOMA. When you get the OOMA Telo and hook it up to your DSL Modem and phone lines , you have service on all your house phones. Can use your own house phones with OOMA. Also OOMA is still on even when you turn off your computer. So I can still make and receive calls with the computer off. I really think this is the best service for me.

Linksys CIT200 Cordless Internet Telephony

Pros:

* Versatile
* Excellent Addition to the Skype Service
* Long Range
* Not confined to a computer when using the Skype Service
* Small and Portable

Cons:

* Slightly expensive
* No Mac/Linux support

Recommendation
Overall ease of use and portability of the CIT200 bring the Skype technology into the forefront of VoIP service. Having the ability to call anyone on the growing Skype community for free is a major plus, and with SkypeOut prices below other VoIP service providers, the CIT200 is a perfect addition for anyone who wants to use it as a replacement to the usual Skype hardware, but I would not be sure to use is as a main land line replacement. The handset has exceptional wireless range and the battery life is excellent. One of the most pleasing aspects about the CIT200 is that you don't have to be in front of your computer to make a call to any contact, all can browsed from the phone. If you're looking to increase the Skype interface and usability, the Linksys CIT200 is a perfect addition.

Availability/Warranty
The Linksys CIT200 Cordless Internet Telephony kit has a suggested retail of $129.99.

I'd definitely try to avoid Panasonic 5.8Ghz phones, especially if you have a Billion router. I've tried the following phones:

Telstra 1.8Ghz
Doro 1.8Ghz
Panasonic 5.8Ghz
Uniden 5.8Ghz
