Cell phone/WiFi phone dual mode

There's this interesting technology in a new dual mode phone. It combines both a regular cell phone and a WiFi mobile phone. In itself this is not unusual. Many new phones with computer features have the ability to run VoIP clients. But there's this thing which allows the phone to switch between cell phone and VoIP modes without dropping a call.
