Cordless VOIP phones

Recently I have bought a Philips VOIP321 (cordless) phone. Altough I am not using Skype, the Philips VOIP phone with a cord seemed to be fine. However with the cordless one, I can't hear anything after installing the driver correctly. I wondered whether anyone could help me out.
