Default Noob Voip.. BT Voip and OSX any help please

I've switched over from orange to BT broadband after a hoo har, and thought of taking on the internet line, to which i still have not used

mainly as i didn't want the home hub as it has security issues with OSX, and got the std router (not bothered as i already had a wireless system in place)

i run 2 laptops, 1 G4 and 2 PSP's so wireless is a must in this case..

is there any piece of hardware that i can either add to the router as non of the 4 ports are being used or a way of connecting the wired router to the network to get the internet line ? or am i barking up the wrong tree completely ?

any help would be appreciated
