Default sipgate to livebox

Hi,
My sipgate connection is working fine via a PAP2 for incoming and outgoing calls. My friend has an Orange Livebox and an 0845 number which enables him to make cheap VOIP calls too. All very nice so far - however - I'm trying to work out whether it's possible to call each other for free over IP. Sipgate seem to have peering arrangements with some providers and I have just emailed their tech support for more details.
Does anyone have any experience of calling sipgate VOIP to orange VOIP and visa versa? Any prefixes to use?
Thanks,
Dicky.
