2/3 wireless access point multihop

Hello, i am new to the forum and after some advice.

I have a house with very thick walls. My office is at one side of the house (with the adsl socket), and currently i use a linksys WRK54g router, (with a seperate adsl modem). I cant see the wireless connection at the other side of the house.

I do however have a network ports linking both sides of the house. What i would like to do is have a Wireless Access point with ADSL modem (built in) at one end of the house and then at the other just have an access point.

So what i need is ADSL modem/router/wap next to the adsl port, and then some kind of repeater? at the other end. But here comes the tricky part, are there any product that allow me to have the repeater and access point cabled together and yet both the devices use the same sid/ wep key. Basically i want to be able to walk around the house and the laptop automatically swap which device it is connected to, without me having to select a different network.

Does that make sense? Is it possible? and what products are good for this?

Get the echotech wireless high-power units. I run them 4 hops with 1.5Mbps at the end. If you need more, get the dual radio units which reduce that by 1/2.
