Default Appearing Inactive

I connect to my houses router but would like to appear inactive because my parent always knocks me off the internet because I am on too long...any tips?

Tell your parents that by limiting your time on the Internet will interrupt your learning......yer that excuse never works for me either so just tell your parents to get over it.
