Default Bridge a Wireless Router(i-BALL) with existing BSNL wireless router through a cable

Hello all,

I have BSNL wireless internet router at home. Internet line is terminate into WAN port of that BSNL router. And wireless network is available. Router LAN IP-192.168.1.1 and DHCP is enabled and range is 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.15. Now i want to connect other i-Ball router with BSNL router through a cross cable to extend the wireless range. So where should i connect that cross cable in both router and what should be the configuration in i-Ball(New-Router) router?

Default

reset the iball router - use a streight cable - cross wont do....connect the 2 routers...
then -- connect the iball to ur pc with a lan cable - make sure wifi on ur pc/laptop is off (which is being connected to the iball router)

DHCP - disabled (since ip's will be provided from ur 1st router to iball router)
SET static ip to : 192.168.0.2 (so that each time the router is on - it will request for this ip)

set a ssid
set security

and i think thats it...u dont need to do anything further...

hope this helps
