If you can get (or make) a cantenna for both routers and can position them so that all they have to do is transmit through windows (not through neighbors' walls) then it's physically possible.
You'd still have to set up your router as a bridge/repeater, and most can't be used as bridges (much less as repeaters), though you can buy a bridge to connect to your dad and use your router to serve your house.
yourComputers (()) yourRouter ==== yourBridge ((((())))) dadsRouter
This is theoretically possible, but you need to surf the Web and find out what others have done with the equipment you have available.
Also, if your dad's router only has one antenna, he will be cutting off his own wireless to serve you, unless he also gets a bridge.
However, if he only has one antenna connection and you have a clear line of sight to his house, he might be able to skip a cantenna and bridge at his end and just get a bigger omnidirectional antenna, and put his router near the window with your cantenna aimed at it.
