Smile Collission in the medium

Hi!

I am very new to this forum I have a query regarding wireless access and wireless jamming.Normally a jammer to jam a GSM network will transmit the limited bandwidth noise signal with an equal amount of power just as a BTS. In general we say that this cause collission in the network. My query whether we will be loosing the data due to the collission in the air medium, whether the charges gets collided or what is happening exactly. As I am a technician with hardware experience it will be very helpfull for me if any one is able to explain me this with the details what is happening in the space???

Thanks
