Default Connect 9dbi antenna to wifi card?

Hello,
Maybe this is a stupid question but here goes.

Can I connect a 9dbi antenna to a wifi card instead of the router? I bought a pair of 9dbi antennas to add to my Linksys router and found out that the antennas are not removable.

So if I buy SMA Male to TNC Female Adapter can I put these antennas on my D-Link WiFi cards?

TIA ADNUP!
