Default Connecting 2 houses 50m apart?

Hi. Could anyone advise me on how to connect 2 houses 50 meters apart to the same wireless network? What kind of hardware would I have to buy? House 1 already has the wireless up and running. The houses are on the same street and across the road from each other.

You can have the WiFi 2.4GHz Panel antenna 8 dBi and a cable assy. to connect your wireless access point on the trnasmitting end and use the laptop that build the wifi inside or wifi card or wifi usb on the receiveing end to pick up the WiFi signal, the 50 m distance is not too far.

50m isn’t very far at all for a wireless network, you could just about connect with integrated wifi on a laptop. However personally I would buy a dd-wrt capable wifi router, then attach a 7dbi antenna and bridge the traffic over to Ethernet and connect it into your home computers that way.

I suggest you might like to try getting another router for the "target" house, and set it to act as a repeater for the first router. Yes, you will need higher-gain antennas for both routers, and you will need to make sure the router in the "target" house does have the function to be able to act as a repeater (many do not. Ask your local dealer/ reseller). Some line-of-sight between the 2 routers would also be good. 50m may not be very far, but expect to have some drop in throughput. Hope this helps.
