Arrow [Discussion]the super 40th+ channels!!!THE MOST NEWEST##

[Discussion]the 40th+ channel !!!,the last channel of 802.11b/g is #13 runs at2472MHZ , so how many (Hz) of the 42 & 46 channel running at?

my download speed is much slower than the upload speed, the Download Speed reduced so much, i can hardly download since last weekend.

i believe i got a lot of interfere / collision with the 3,4,5 7,8,9 channels ,by the way ,i am now using the 11Mbps 802.11b adaptor.

if someone else very close to my AP has use the channel i already used, and he/she doesn't open the ssid broadcast option, how can i found a free and noiseless channel to use without collision.

thanks for all the replys!

If you find that you are getting a lot of interference with nearby AP's then use a free channel. Are you sure you are getting a lot of interference with channels 5 7,8,9. according to your scan no one are using those channels.

You can also buy a more advanced AP that can work on more channels than just the conventional 1-11. Using 802.11b will help if you are trying to send the signal longer distances, however speed will be slower.

1. have u ever heard about the 42 channel ?

2. if someone else very close to my AP has use the channel i already used, and he/she doesn't open the ssid broadcast option, how can i see him/her?
they'll never show up in my scan results. but my download speed will be drop down to the limit.

3. according to the 802.11g,channel 6 has not interfere with only the 1 and 11 channel, it can use the dual channel to both sending and receiving packets in the same time. and channel 345 789 has cross over the #6 frequence range
