Does WEP slown down wireless....
I'm just wondering If WEP slows down wireless ? If so, then i might think about removing it....I live out in rural area....and I don't really think it's necessary to have it enabled......

WEP shouldn't slow down wireless on devices these days, but you could always try it with and without and see which is faster.
I don't run WEP on my home network and I live in a built up area

On modern hardware WEP makes little difference. I'd recommend keeping it enabled even if you do live in a remote area.
