Default DWL-2100AP Problem

Hi Guys,

I am new to this forum, As Religious cleric. I want to create a Wi-Fi network for the people who have notebooks (Guests adn members), and couple of weeks back I found this DWL-2100AP Dlink Airplus Xtreme G Acess Point, which was lying in a corner of a shelf in my community. I wanted to configure it for the above reason, I had connected it was described in the manual, and as I tried access it, but I couldn't. I can see the network on the Wi-Fi of my laptop,It say "Unnamed unsecured network" but even there I wouldn't access it with the default network name - which should be 'dlink'. I already have a wired network, with Fedora 2 release, which controls the firewall concept. I even tired resetting to factory default and with ADSL connecting directly, but couldn't get, and I am not a expert on Wi-fi. Could any share their Ideas to solve my porblem.
