Default Handover Delay

Hello everyone,

This is my first post here. Actually I have a question regarding handovers. I have been working on a project and understood that the Handover delay tends to increase when the speed of the node is increased?

Could someone explain why this happens? What causes the interference or the handover delay to increase as the mobility speed in increased.

Thanks.

You mean the delay as the client re-associates with another AP?
