Health Risks for High Gain Antenna Indoors

I have a Hyperlink 24 dbi parabolic directional grid antenna pointing at my window inside my house picking up my neighbors wifi signal along with a 17 dbm chipset wireless adapter. I want to add a 2-3 watt amplier so I can reach more unlocked signals with better reception. I want to know how if it is hazardous to my health to have this kind of power inside my house. Is it only hazardous to stand in front of the antenna since its directional? Would the amplifier along with my adapter and antenna put out too much radiation for my house? Are there any tips to reduce my risks for excess radiation ie sit 10 feet away from antenna or dont stand in front of antenna?
