I've recently bought a Vaio-Fz740N7:Vista 32-bit bussiness. Now I want to connect this laptop to my previuos laptop which was a Toshiba-Satellaite: XP SP2 using a wireless adhoc connection. I proceeded with Vista connection wizard and every thing went ok. I configured both connections to WEP which is working properly. I can see the wireless network connection in the wireless network list of Toshiba. I can connect and after a while the Toshiba shows me: "Connected". The Vaio shows me "connected" after "identifying the networks". I set my network to private in Vista so that Toshiba:XP2 can see that. I use no firewall but the windows'.
see? everything is ok! but... the problem is that I can't see either of computers in My Network Places! there is nothing there. No computers and no shared places are visible in network folders of both systems. where are they? how can I access my shared folders on each computer from the other?
