Default Help me!

Since putting a password on my belkin modem my laptop wont allow me to access wireless, it just says that my settings are not what the modem requires. Im not brilliantly computer smart but i no basically what most things are lol. Could someone please tell me how to sort this out?

On your belkin router, find a small hole or button recessed on it that says reset. (Or it may not be labled). Usually it's on the back. Power down your modem, repower it and immediately hit the reset button for no less than 15 seconds.

This should reset it to factory default, and allow you to try to set it up again.
Chances are you set a type of security that 'seems' like the options you're given on your laptop, but are slightly different.
You may have to experiment a little.
