Help needed please!

Hi

I am having problems with my orange wirless service.


My internet connection is working fine.

The phone is not working although the red light is lit up. So the service is there but when I pick the phone up it is dead, no ring tone at all.

I have looked through orange help section and cannot find anything there. I used a neighbours phone to check everything was ok with the service and they told me the account was active. They told me I may have to call tech support but I would need to be next to the wireless box when I call so they can carry out diagnostic tests, the only way I can do that is by using my mobile phone but it will cost a fortune!!!!!!!!

We have been using this service since Christmas and not encountered any problems with the phone before.

Everything is connected, I have quadruple checked that!

Any help would be much appreiated

It might just be a dead handset. Does it seem to have any power?
