Help please

I just tried to connect my router di-634m to my dv9000t for the first time and I am getting a wierd error. "Windows is unable to connect to the select network. The network may no longer be in range" The notebook is next to the router. and it shows full siginal in the scan. I have many notebooks connected to this router and they all work. I have tried another router and the dv9000t will work with another router. I need this machine to connect to the d-link router. Does anyone know what is going on?
