Help - USR9108 wireless network not enabled

Hi Friends,

Please help me in resolving this issue. I tried repeatedly contacting the USR support to no avail. All i get is an automated response but no real help from support.

The main issue is that I do not get the Wireless network tab in the web configuration URL ie. http://192.168.1.1/info.html. In the status page, i see the following status

Network name: 
Broadcast name: Disabled
Method: None
Encryption:
Pass phrase: :/bin/sh 
Key:
Wireless MAC filter: Deny some

I have no idea on how to enable the wireless networking feature. I tried some debugging and found the page for enabling wireless networking is http://192.168.1.1/wlcfg.html. When i try to mark the "enable wireless networking" checkbox, and click 'Apply' button i get a 'page not found' error. I need to restart the gateway to be able to access the page again.

I also tried to upgrade the firmware. In this case i am able to setup the WAN but after setup URL is no longer available unless i reset the gateway settings.

I am able to access internet using cable though.
