Default How to establish a bridge network

My friend has a wireless connection in his flat just below mine. i was thinking to setup a bridge connection from that wireless and setup a router in my flat so that i can use it. BTW its unsecured wireless. Can anyone give any step by step guide for this please. Thanks in advance. Another thing is i'm very new in networking and hhave no idea about any jargon.
