Default How to uninstall wireless router

My friend took back her DLink wireless router that was connected to our pc. Now I can't get connected to the internet. Can someone walk a beginner on how to uninstall dlink software/drivers or reset settings from the computer so the computer is like it was before hooking up the router. We have the cables connected to the cable modem (roadrunner) to the pc, now what do we do? We also checked Control Panels Add/Remove but nothing was listed unless it's under a different name other than Dlink. Appreciate any help you could give. Thanks!

Gezzzzzzzzzz..... Your Kidding Right... Let Me Get This Straight..your Paying An Isp For Cable Modem Service ..or Paying Your Cable Company As An Isp For Internet Service... Included In What Your Paying For Is "the Technical Helpdesk @ Customer Service.." .... All You Do Is Call Them Dude... Your Paying Them To Solve This Problem For You.... Why..would You Come Here For That Kind Of Problem...does This Board Look Like The Customer Service Dept Of Your Cable Tv Provider ???? Gezzzzzzzzzzzzz

Default motorola router

Can you tell me how to find my current installed router on my xp machine in order to remove it? It does not appear in the add/remove list, all programs list, or any folder. I need to remove it so I can install another router. Thank you.
