Brand new to the wireless forums, im looking for a hand with a question.
Im working on a project to fly cameras into a tornado via balloon. I need to be able to pop this balloon during flight to activate a parachute to get it back on the ground. The popping mechanism im using requires a switch to activate it. Im looking to be able to activate this switch from a support vehicle to the balloon across distances ranging from a few hundred meters to 100 miles and needs to work primarily in the US and UK. It needs to be lightweight as well as small.
At a guess a mobile phone would do the trick but i wasn't going to google 'using a mobile as a trigger' heh.
